FALL REGISTRATION REQUIRED BY THE COLLEGE BOARD
Our goal is 65% of students in every classroom take the AP exam. Registration for Advanced Placement Exams will take place entirely at home schools, whether or not the student takes the AP class at the home school or Central Academy.
Each AP exam requires a $40 non-refundable deposit by students by November 3, 2023.
·On or before March 1, 2024, all exams must be fully paid ($98.00).
·Payment by external funding sources (i.e. district grant) can be handled after the exams are administered, but each exam’s payment source should be clearly accounted for prior to the first two full weeks in May.
AP registration and payment reminders need to be sent monthly by each school’s AP Site Coordinator(s).
·Reminders can be sent in a variety of ways: Infinite Campus Messenger, School web site, Parent Newsletter, etc. Be creative and consistent. Multiple reminders in a variety of formats will help ensure that payments are made on a regular basis. AP Verification Letters should be sent home in the spring to each student confirming registration.
